posting here, as existing forum post (with same title) would not allow me to update...
The issue is self-explantory (refer to original post for more detail).
While the resolution in the original post says to call tech support for cleanwipe or unsintall manually, when I worked with tech support, they said cleanup is in the tools package within your symantec fileconnect listing (the one you likely used to get updates to the management console).
just thought those of you with access to fileconnect would appreciate not having to spend 20+ minutes on the phone getting to tech support, when you can get it yourself.
BTW - I wasn't entirely clear on the tech's explanation as to why they don't just have a link to the utility in the support post.
