SEP12.1.7 reputation emails and a lot of ping outs

Hi Guys,

I have an SEPM 12.1.7 environment. None of the machines have internet except for machines that have SEPM. We are getting tons of reputation error and actually a lot of pings from the SEPM machines. Are they both related? since most of machines don't have internet access should I disable reputation?
