Welcome
Environment:
- Windows Server 2012 R2 (Role: Domain Controller)
* on this server also installed Microsoft SQL Server 2012 for another program
- Latest Java Update
- In the Group Policy for Domain Controller and Security "Loging as Services" I added users (reading some another solutions):
NT SERVICE\semsrv
NT SERVICE\semwebsrv
NT SERVICE\SQLANYs_sem5
This is accepted, because in this point system not verified if this account really exist or not, but when I try to add this account for example to Security Group, then system tell me that this account is not exist (unknown).
So, service "Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager" not started, and when I try to start it again manualy, then I get Event Log 4096 with Java -1. This service try to start with account "NT SERVICE\semsrv", but this account not exist in system.
May be we must create own user to start this service, but why installation procedure of Endpoint Protection not do it or not tell about it?
This is a clean, fresh install Endpoint Protection for comercial use.
Forgive me by my english, and Thank You for answer
