"Logon user or computer" in SEPM the actual account name?

This is specifically for a Mac now, but it could apply to Windows machines too.  It would be good to know.

In SEPM, on the client machine view, there's a "logon user or computer" field.  I thought that was the account name for who's logged in.

A few names look nicer, more regular, the human-readable friendly version we use and not a standardized account name format I noticed.

If I see a name in that field that look unusual to me like that, is that the actual account name or is it just a display name with the actual account name not being displayed there?  ie  The users folder would be "actualnamename" but this field I'm looking at would be "Mr. Pretty Name."

Might just be a Mac thing too.
