Unmanaged detector continues to report offline computers

Dear Community

I noticed the same question was asked before for SEP 11, however I could not find anything for v12.1.5.

Basically I have an Unmanaged Detector machine which continues to report missing SEP client for an IP address, even though that particular IP address has been offline for a few days.

Is this still have the unmanaged detector mechanism is supposed to work?

If so, will these notifications continue forever or is there a threshold somewhere?
