I need a solution
We have a need to deploy communication settings to a large number of Windows 7 clients in the environment to re-point them to SEPM. Currently the communication is broken and the clients' status is Offline. I have been pushing communication package from SEPM via Add a Client option, but it is extremely painful and slow. Is there a better way?
I found the following excellent article which describes a way to deploy the communication settings via GPO - ttps://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/startup-scripts-and-sylinkdrop-better-together. Unfortunately, after many tries this method does not work. Should I try this same method with a "twist"? Should I try to push SylinkDrop.exe with Sylink.xml with SCCM? Any other way?
